Our Learning Environments

Young Explorers / 12 months – 2 years

Explorers / 2 – 3 years

This education and care environment consists of a large classroom area connected to a covered verandah that facilitates opportunities for gross motor play. Our children can confidently explore and engage with social and physical environments through relationships and play. Our educators and children build secure attachments and establish and maintain respectful and trusting relationships. Educators support children to engage independently with tasks and learning experiences.

Adventurers / 3 – 4 years

This large learning environment opens onto our outdoor play space and provides opportunities for a wide variety of learning experiences. Our educators facilitate opportunities for children to engage independently with tasks and play. Children are supported to develop their emerging autonomy, inter-dependence, resilience and sense of agency.

Discoverers / 4 – 6 years

In the Discoverers classroom, our educators facilitate play based learning that extends on the children’s current development, abilities and interests. Educators provide opportunities for learning that focus on developing skills, knowledge and behaviours to best support children and families in their transition to school.
